Three Stripe

I had my u/s day 12 and my lining was 5.5mm. My doctor told me he was not too concerned about it because he saw the three stripes on my uterus. I haven't heard this term used before and when I did some research I found some doctors went by this three stripe as more of a guide than the mm of the lining. I am interested in your opinion on a thinner lining with a three stripe pattern than a thicker lining without one. Thanks for your time.

The data I have read in the professional literature imply that the endometrium should be greater thanj 7 mm thick at thae time of ovulation. The trilaminar pattern is good, but not essential if the endometrium is thick enough and is either trilaminar or the same echo density as the muscle of the uterine wall.
Good luck.
