Hi Dr. Jacobs,

I am on Lupron and Gonal-F. Today my DH and I went out shopping and we left our Lupron and Gonal-F in our car for a couple of hours. It is 94 degrees outside today. We forgot about the medicine and are now worried that it overheated. Do you think the medicine is OK or should we try tomorrow to get new medicine??? We have been storing the Gonal-F pen in the refrigerator and the Lupron has been stored at room temperature.

We are worried that this may affect our outcome and wanted to know your opinion.

It was far hotter than 94 dergees in your car. The Lupron and Gonal-f are probably ruined. Start a fresh supply with the next dose following the last one before the accident.
