I found out I was pregnant on Monday Sept 24th. I had an HCG test and my level was 16. I had a repeat done on Wed and it was 55. I had another done on Friday and it was 112. I had what was to be the last one on this past Monday and it was 130. The nurse prepared me for a miscarriage. She had me repeat the blood test again Wednesday and the results came back at 420. The nurse does not know what to make of this. My progesterone went down, and I am having brown spotting for about a week. Is this an impending miscarriage or do I still have hope that Monday's test of 130 was a fluke test and things might still be okay? I have had 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 ectopic pregnancy before. Any information would be helpful.

If this pregnancy was not as a result of stimulating your ovaries, and based on your passed history, you provided, I think you are at risk for another tubal pregnancy. Please see your physician ASAP.
