Hi. Is it dangerous to stop estrace at 6 weeks (lmp)? I achieved this pregnancy through ivf and had been taking 2 mg since transfer although my estrogen levels were normal at transfer time. All the warnings about birth defects prompted me to decrease to 1 mg. I have not taken my estrace for 3 days. Should I start it again? Isn't estrace dangerous for the baby?

I usually have my patiets continue their estrogen and progesterone supplements until the placenta starts making the hormones at about 8 to 10 weeks of pregnancy.
