Yesterday was my first injection of Follistim 150IU for an IUI cycle. I return to the doctor on Tuesday for another US & BW. My numbers looked good at my baseline. FSH 8, E2 15, follicles present in both ovaries.

Statistically speaking, w/ my age and unexplained IF what is the chance of success for each IUI cycle and does the chance get better w/ each try. My first RE wanted to go straight to IVF because of my FSH level (highest was 9.2). The new RE at a bigger clinic said IUI was a good choice. What do you think?

Withouth knowing all the detail of your medical history and other findings, I cannot prognosticate for you. I will tell you that in an academic practice, we achieved a pregnancy in about half our IUI patients within 4 treatment cycles.
Good luck.
