Should we try again?

I am 36 yr old and I had my first IVF in Dec 2004. I did get pregnant, but it ended in an ectopic pregnancy. We just did the FET with the 4 frozen embryos that we had left over and I did not get pregnant. Do you think we would have a good chance of getting pregnant with another fresh IVF cycle? (We have unexplained infertility. Everything seems to be ok, but we just don't get pregnant)

Thank you

Stacey

The statistics would imply that there is about an 80% probability of pregnancy in 4 IVF tries. Only you and your husband can decide what is right for you.
Good luck.

I noticed that the initial author has the same problem that we do of male factor infertility. When you say 80% probability of pregnancy in 4 IVF tries, does this mean only 4 "fresh cycles" or does this also include "frozen cycles"?

The data I have seen are for fresh cycles.
Good luck.
