Assuming you have a septum, and not a bicornuate uterus, removing the septum is important. If not removed the risk of miscarriage is 60% to 75%. If the septum extends to the upper end of the cervix, the risk of miscarriage may be as much as 90%. If it is a bicornuate uterus, it probably need not be operated, and should not be attempted through a hysteroscope. |
