I just received the printout of my husband's SA. Here is what it says:

SEMEN VISCOSITY LOW
SEMEN MOTILITY-1 HOUR 70%
SEMEN MOTILITY-2 HOUR 70%
SEMEN FORWARD PROGRESSION 80%
SPERM CONCENTRATION 156 MIL/ML
MOTILE SPERM COUNT 437 MIL/EJ
PERCENT NORMAL MORPHOLOGY 8%
ABNORMAL TYPE- HEAD 92%
SPERM MAR RESULTS- IGA 15% BOUND
SPERM MAR RESULTS-IGG 50% (HIGH) BOUND

CAN YOU GIVE ANY INFO./INTERPRETATION/OPINION IF OUR CHANCES OF CONCEIVING NATURALLY ARE GOOD OR POOR? THANK YOU.

As far as the standard semen analysis, with the exception of morphology, things are fine. Depending on the lab, and their assessment of morphology, there seems to be a moderate problem with morphology. If they did it right, morphology correlates with the ability of sperm to fertilize eggs. I do not use the MAR test, so I cannot comment. Sperm antibodies are rare, except after vasectomy. If we feel there is a specific need to look for sperm antibodies, we use the ImunoBead test.
Good luck.
