RH Negative

Dr, I was just reading the post titled RH Negative, I have a question, I also had a miscarriage about 3 years ago and I am now 6 weeks pregnant, I was bleeding and cramping I went to the emergency and I was told that I was still pregnant, I was given the Rhogam shot, this was yesterday and the bleeding and cramping stopped.

I just recently found out I am RH Negative, but from the research I have come across it states that the shot should be given after a miscarriage, abortion, at 26-28 weeks of pregnancy and within 72 hours of delivery.

Could this shot have stopped the bleeding and cramping which is actually preventing me from miscarring? I honestly feel the shot saved my pregnancy.

Any advice would be so helpful, Thank You so much!

No, Rhogam did not prevnt your having a miscarriage, or stop the bleeding. Especially in medicine, coincidences are common.
Good luck.
