Hi Dr. Jacobs! :)

Today is the happiest day of my life!!! I just got the word from my nurse that I am pregant!! My Beta was at 80.

I have a question. If my ER was on June 7th (8am) and transfer on June 10th (10:30am). What is today (June 23rd) in terms of days past ovulation? Is it 13 or 14 days past ovulation?

3 IUI's 50 Clomid- BFN
IVF #1 (Transferred two 8 celled embryos on day 3)-BFP

Day of retrieval is analagous to day of ovulation.

thanks Dr. Jacobs! so do you think my HCG number is good? My nurse told me I was 14 dpo. Is this true? It does not seem right than if the ovulation day is the day of the ER?

The normal range for hCG in early pregnancy is extremely wide. The only way to use hCG to try to determine a good pregnancy is to test twice, 48 houra apart. The level should at least double.

Thank you again Dr. Jacobs! I pretty much thought that the early numbers can vary alot. I am thinking I am 16dpo. :) I go back to the clinic on Monday and Wed. My clinic does not do BETA's on the weekend.

My clinic is Shady Grove Fertility in Virginia. Are you familiar with it?
