Puregon?

Hi,

After three failed IUI's using letrozole my RE has finally added an FSH called Puregon along with the letrozole. Have you heard of this drug (Puregon) and is it widely used? Also being that he has given me the lowest amount (50) for three days beginning on day 7, what are the chances of hyper stimulation? Also what is the optimal number of follicles for an IUI, and if a woman produces many follicles how many would it take to cancel the cycle?

Thanks,

Sarah

The name for Puregon in the U.S. is Follistim. I have very limited experience using letrozol in combination with FSH. It is possible to hyperstimulate any time you use FSH to stimulate ovaries. Your rresponse needs to be monitored carefully.
Good luck.
