why is it necessary to wait until day 35 to begin my provera to start a cycle. I rarely start on my own and every month i am told to wait until day 35 to start the provera and then another 10 days of meds before i usually start around day 10-13. Since i do not usually start on my own, is there any medical reason i could not start my provera on day 30 after taking a pregnancy test?

No, thre is nothing magic about 35 days. However, I do require a pregnancy test to document that my patient is not pregnant.
