Dr. Jacobs,
I am 7 weeks pregnant after our first IVF. Today my progesterone levels showed 320! Is that okay? The nurse said it's fine, and that my corpus luteum cysts from over stimulated ovaries is probably part of the reason it is so high. Nevertheless, I read something on line that said progesterone doesn't usely get that high until the third trimester.
Because the levels are that strong, they are weaning me off of the PIO and I'll just be taking Prometrium.
Is it okay that the levels are that high,(my HCG is also very high and they think I probably have twins or triplets--I go in for the ultrasound next week)?
