Dr. Jacobs,
Greetings. I had Iui this cycle and using prog.supps. I have 2 questions:
1. Is it ok to have intercourse within an hour or two after inserting the progestrone supps inside my body(I use the wax type that has to be inserted into the vagina)
2. I read somewhere that using progestrone for long time(meaning continuosly for couple of months) make it work as contraceptive. Is it true?

Let's not get in the way of things that are important in your married lif. Yes, you may hae sex. If you do not stop the progesterone 2 weeks after ovulation in a cycle in which you do not become pregnant, the continued progesterone effect on the endometrium will interfere with pregnancy, until you stop using the progesterone.
