Percentage of eptopic pg in IVF

Hi Doctor, I have a question.. (first some background) May of 05 i had surgery on my blocked tubes to open them up.. Aug 05 we found out we were pregnant.. at 6 weks and 3 days, an early U/S found our pg was tubal and my right tube had to be removed. The damage seems to be in the area closest to the ovaries. We went thru IVF and Nov 28,05 they put in 2 eggs.. i took a HPT the 5th which was +.. then today had bloodwork and HCG was 298 (which i thought was great) i go again fri for another. My question is, what are the chances of another tubal pg.. or general chances of tubals with IVF.. thank you.

The risk of tubal pregnancy with IVF is extremely low. IVF bypasses the tubes.
Good luck.

Dr. Jacobs,
Thank you.. I have read there is 3-8% chance of those little guys finding there way up there. Instead of attaching to the uterine wall, they attach in that little tube. I didn't know since i had problems already with my tubes, if i'd be at a higher percent.. Thank you for responding.. and thanks for the luck!
