Dear Dr. Jacobs, I had severe abdominal bloading and lot of gas problem about 5 - 6 days after embryo transfer. After about 10 days the bloating subsided, but I still have some gas problems, lower back pain (and/or cramps), along with nagging pain in the rectum/anus which comes and goes lasting for few minutes to almost an hour at times and also gets little severe at times. This is accompanied sometimes with slight pain in the lower abdomen as well. Meanwhile, I have tested positive for pregnancy and last Monday my hcg was 5000(20 days after transter). Could you please share your thoughts on the above problems
Thanks as always

The hCG of pregnancy is reviving your hyperstimulation. It stimulates the ovarian cysts. I assume your rectal pressure is the large ovaries pressing on your bowel. I am sorry you are having so much discomfort, but congratulations. You are pregnant.
