Dr. Jacobs....

Is it possible to ovulate with getting a temperature rise?

Thanks!

The reason temperature rises after ovulation is the secretion of progesterone from the ovulation site. It would be highly unlikely that you would have a normal ovulation without secretion of progesterone. If you are not using a basal thermometer, you may not detect the temperature rise. The greater issue is that it is possible to go through all the hrmonal changes of ovulation without releasing the egg. Good luck.
