Dear Dr. Jacobs,
My clinic is giving me the option of using only 14 days of bcp's prior to my cycle instead of the usual 21 in order to get around some conflicts with my husband's travel schedule. Lupron only overlaps on the last day of bcp's and stims start 5 days later.
I was just wondering if, in your opinion, there is any possible negative consequence of only using them for 14 days?

I have seen no data on using pills for only 14 days. The alternative would be to start a second pack, and not use all the second pack of pills, to establich your timing.
