For pregnancy, I want the progesterone to be at least 20 ng/ml. If you are just trying to find out if you may have ovulated, a progesterone of over 2 ng/ml is suggestive. Measuring progesterone will not tell you with any certainty that you have ovulated. Please see the information I have provided on our web page, <www.texasfertility.com>. Good luck.

What is the best thing that can be done to find out for certain you are ovulating?

The only 2 ways to determine if you have ovulated are pregnancy and to observe that the follicle has ruptured to release the egg - ovulated. I use ultrasound to make that observation. I have described the process on our web page, <www.texasfertility.com>.
