Morning Doc.
I am wondering if it's normal to have late 'natural' period after a failed IVF??? My period's 7 days late by now...(used to be very regular) should I worry about this?? what's the cause?

The IVF protocol causes very high hormone levels. It is not surprising to have some irregularity after a cycle.

The protocol itself should not cause your symptoms, but stress could. Also, if you are on Lupron for a prolonged period of time before stimulation begins, it will cause menopausal symptoms.

You are right! I was on Lupron for a prolonged period of time before stimulation began last time(IVF)...
Should I take birth control pills instead next time? what's the difference between Lupron and birth control pills?
