Hi, I'm new to the site and a bit curious about IVF. I'll be having an HSG done soon. My doctor told me if my tubes were blocked, IVF would be the way to go. However, my husband is concerned about sperm mobility selection. What is done to insure that the strongest 'swimmer' will be selected during IVF?

Unless your husband has a severe male factor problem requiring that sperm be injected into your eggs to fertilize them, the sperm do all the work themselves. The embryologist does not do any selecting.
Good luck.
