I have a question...I am overweight as a result of having PCOS and am above the 35 BMI recommended for IVF. I was told that if this current cycle I am on doesn't take (my estrogen keeps dropping) that I would have to do IVF but I am not eligible. Is that right? Am I not able to do IVF? Any recommendations? I have been on Weight Watchers for a couple of years and my weight has just stopped dropping off so I don't know what to do.

I need some advice and recommendations.

I do not know enough of your medical history, and I have not examined you, so, I cannot give you any valid medical recommendations. If you are insulin resistant, as an etiology for PCO, reducing your carbohydrate intake to 30 grams a day will produce significant weight loss. If you are insulin resistant, Glucophage will also be of benefit, and helps decrease the risk of miscarriage and gestational diabetes.
Good luck.
