IUI timed correctly?

Hi Dr. Jacobs,
I'm in the 2ww of my 2nd IUI with donor sperm. I produced 2 follicles with clomid, and triggered on cd 14. IUI was performed 36hrs. later.
My question:
Does the trigger shot make the timing for the IUI error-proof? The reason I ask... About 30-35hrs. after my IUI's (both the last cycle as well as this one), I noticed a large blob of stretchy egg-white like cervical mucus, much like what I get right at ovulation normally.
Is it possible that I ovulated 65-70hrs. after my trigger? I worry about the IUI's missing my ovulation; I know donor sperm are a little sluggish, so timing is all the more important for me.
I apologize for the length of this post. Thank you so much for this service.

Please read the information I have provided about Clomid, on our web page, <www.texasfertility.com>. Also, a study we did at one of the medical schools where I was faculty indicated that adding hCG to Clomid did not improve pregnancy or ovulation rates. If you need ovulation induction AND IUI, I must recommend using an FSH product.
Good luck.
