Dr. Jacobs,

I am supposed to have artificial insemination done next cycle, and I am very worried about cramping. Do most patients experience cramping with the procedure, and if so, how bad is it in most patients? I had an HSG study done this month and the cramping was very painful, even though I took 3 ibuprofen tablets ahead of time per my RE's instructions. I will do the procedure either way, I just don't know what to expect. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Leslie

M patients rarely have any real discomfort with IUI.
Good luck.
