I just had a hysteroscopy and polypectomy on 1/12/08. I get my cycle like clockwork every 28 days. Will this affect my cycle that I should get on the 27th of this month?
Also, my doctor wants to see me next months cycle....so what if my cycle is screwed this time......as if it won't come until Feb, then do I call then since it IS "next month" or do I wait until March?

Your hysteroscopy and polypectomy should not effecty your menstrual cycle. There is, however, a remote possiblity that the anesthetic and stress of surgery may interfere with ovulation for 1 or 2 cycles. If that happens, it probably will alter your cycle.
Good luck.

I am going through IVF, so ovulation isn't a problem, or is it?
I am going to be on meds for stimilation of eggs so will it make a difference?

There are several things that increase your risk of pregnancy loss, unrelated to IVF. On our web page, texasfertility.com, I have discussed these issues and the evaluation and treatments. I hope the information is helpful to you.
