husband gave sample at lab ?

Dr. Jacobs,
my husband gave a sample at our RE lab yesterday as a follow up from a varicocelectomy in July. The problem is that the lab did not provide lubrication and he used the soap in the room he was given. My question is could the small amount of soap he had to use contaminate his sample and alter our results?

It did not matter if soap or lubricant were used. Either could damage the sperm.
