Dr Jacobs,
I have already had one HSG about 3 years ago and everything was fine. I actually got pregnant the following month. We are now 14 months of trying including 5 IUI's with clomid and, this week starting#6 IUI with injections. My Dr. recommends that we do lap surgery first, but would be close to impossible for me to not lift anything for 6 weeks and healing time of 2-3 weeks with a 17 month old. My question would be should I request a second HSG or would there be no point seeing how my first one was fine.
Thank you!

It is hard to know for sure if another HSG would provide a lot of value. I would do it. It is minimally invasive, and, if done right, can provide a lot of information. I think your biggest problem with treatment is the use of Clomid. I invite you to see the information on our web page, WWW.texasfertility.com>. Good luck.
