HSG

Dr. Jacobs,

I had a HSG done a while back the left tube spilled
just fine the right tube did not, they said it could be
a possibe spasm......

Went to a new RE and he wanted to start over so
he order a HSG/Tubal cannulation where if the tube
is blocked they insert a thin fine wire catheter to try
to see whats going on inside or to help with opening
it.

Both tubes looked healthy no sign of scarring or damage
but this time both tubes filled slowly after cannulation they spilled promptly, does this seem like possible spasm they see no reason as to why it spilled slowly still atributing it to debree or spasm...He gave no guarantee that they would spill promptly in the future how much impact would slow filling tubes have...

Without seeing the X-rays as they are made, I am limited as to what I can tell you. I do my own HSG's. If your tubea are open and look normal, they probably are. I cannot point to tubes as a reason for your infertility, now.
Good luck.

I understand how you can not determine anything
without the films which they had indicated all showed
normal on the films, I guess what I am asking is ...Is slow filling tubes considered partially blocked...

Thanks again

I do not think that slow filling means anything. I inject slowly, so tubes fill slowly.
