Hello.. i am a bit confused. Please help. I am 33 years old. I did the 3 day ultrasound with the follicle count of 6 on one side and 4 on the other, but my FSH levels were 16.1. What is my chance in getting pregnant on my own as my cycle was cancelled this month? My RE cancelled my cycle as my FSH were too high. We are currently trying to do IUI. In the last couple of months my FSH were 6, 8 & 10. I had 2 IUI BFN and my last one was cancelled as poor response to Gonal f. Any ideas? My RE wants to wait till next cd3 to see what my levels are? Any imput would be appreicated.

there are some data in the literature indicating that the follicle count may be a better determinant of ovarian reserve than an FSH determination. If your ovaries respond well to stimulation protocols, I would not rely on the report of the elevated FSH.
