Does your hCG begin to plateau after reaching a certain level?

My last beta done today did not rise as much as the previous three... should I be concerned? I have my first ultra-sound on Friday, but in the mean time I am a bit worried that the doubling time has decreased. Any insight would be very much appreciated!

The expected doubling time for hCG is 48 hours. Given the time intervals of your assays, it is difficult to evluate the meaning of the rise. Your first 2 assays quadrupled in 96 hours, so maybe you are OK.
