Dr Jacobs I have used Ganirelix before and it has worked for me, But this cycle It did not work on the 9th day of my cycle while taking Ganirelix I had such bad pain in my ovary's that I had to take some pain pills I though to myself that It feels Like I am ovulating ,Then went in for U/S and my RE said he could tell by the U/S that I had Ovulated by saying something Like seeing white shadows on The U/S on my ovrary's and he did some blood work, but for some reason one egg was still there . The egg was 16mm he told me to take a trigger shot which I did and so far no more pain and it has been past 24 hours after trigger shot.Have you ever herd of Ganirelix not working to stop ovulation Before?This is the weirdest cycle I have ever had.

I do not use ganerelex. If I use a product to block the LH surge, I use Lupron. I almost never use thes products in ovulation induction cycles. I use Lupron is IVF cycles.
