Hi,

I was on your website and have a question. On the site it says that a woman under 35 should try 3-4 rounds of clomid before moving on to 3-4 rounds of injectables. My fourth IUI combined Letrozole with 3 shots of Follistim 50ul. Which group would that fall in the first or second.

Also could you tell me if this is normal. On day 7 of Letrozole I had three follicles. My RE gave me Follisitm one a day for the next three days to help mature those eggs. When I went back on the 10th there were only two follicles. Is this normal?

I no longer use Clomid, but there are many who still prescribe it. My comment was that you should not use it more than 3 to 4 cycles. In my practice, it is 0 cycles. In useing an FSH product, withletrozol, ovulation will occurr without an injection of hCG. Your missing follicle may have ovulated.
