I'm 36 years old with a 8 and 6 years old. I had three prior m/c. My doctor transfered one grade 2 8 cell embryo two days ago after my first IVF and PGD. I'm anxious about getting pregnant. If my pregnancy test is negative a week from now, does that mean I would have had a m/c? If I didn't m/c (no spoting or cramping) and the pregnancy is negative, what happens to the embryo that was transferred? Thanks.

I assume you are on hormones to help support a new pregnancy. These hormones will delay your period. If they do not implant and grow, the embryos will be absorbed by your body. Since you have had 3 miscarriages, you deserve an evaluation for recurremt pregnancy loss. Please see the information provided on our web page, <www.texasfertility.com>. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through comprehensive evaluation regarding multiple m/c, that's why I had the PGD.
What do you think is my chance of pregnancy with one grade 2 embryo? Again, I'm 36 and this is my first IVF and PGD.
Thank you.
