Hi Doc

What influence does the morning-after pilll have on hpt results. I was due to get my period on Saturday but on my ovulation day I took the pill to prevent falling pregnant (long story but solid reasons for the next few monmths). I spotted a bit yesterday and I just took a hpt which came out +ve. Could this mean a pregnancy? I'll only do b/w when I go back home on Thursday morning (out on work assignment).

The pregnancy tests detect the hormone hCG. The morning after pill is a high dose of an estrogen and a progestin. There is no hCG in the morning after pill.
