Hoping you can offer some help. Yesterday my wife staarted to have a brown discharge and slight cramping 8 days after transfer(13 after retrieval) of Blastocyst(2). Just did a HPT tonight and shows positive. Is the brown discharge old blood from retrieval or ET?

There are many possibilities as to the reason for the light spotting. Most of them are of no concern. Her own physician may be able to examine her and determine the cause.

Turns out it was old blood from retrieval and ET.
Good news is the Beta blood test was positive and HCG was 493 on day 10 after blast transfer. Dr says reading was very good. From what I read that indicates a singleton. Well, we keep fingers crossed to get through first trimester!!!!!!
