Hi Dr. Jacobs,
How many days after a day 5 early blastocyst transfer would you expect to have detectable amounts of hcg in the urine and blood?
What days could implantation occur after transfering at day 5?
Why I'm asking:
When I still had retained products of conception from a miscarriage I used a home pregnancy test and had a faint positive when the doctor ran a quant. hcg my level was 10.
Today I used a home pregnancy test, 4 days after a day 5 blastocyst transfer, that resulted [b]negative[/b].

I recomend a pregnancy test 2 weeks after egg retreval. Nine days after retrieval, you may see a positive pregnancy tes, but you may have to wait a few more days.
