I had egg retrieval yesterday and 6 eggs were retrieved (I thought there would be more since I had 9-10 follicles with size > 15 two days earlier (why would only 6 be retrieved?)) My clinic does embryo transfer on day 4, which seems to be unusual since most transfers are done on days 3 or 5. What are the benefits/problems associated with a day 4 transfer? Do you recommend it? (FYI- I am 38 y.o. with husband with low count and motility. We are doing IVF with ICSI.)

Unfortunately, most labs seem to not be able to reliably grow embryos for 5 days, and do day 3 transfers. I do not know if your lab has a problem or not. I do not know of a benefit of a day 4 transfer compared to day 3, and cannot immagine a benefit compared to day 5, unoless the lab cannot grow embryos for 5 days.
