I was Dx with PCOS with IR. I have been on Metaformin for four months. While waiting for the doctor i started taking fertility blend with the met. I had a cycle on my own the pass three months, this month i started clomid 50mg for five days. I have a clearblue easy fertility monitor that i started using on CD1 i am now on CD 13 and i had a high reading on CD11, 12, and 13, but not a peek. My husband and i have been having innercourse once a day since i got the high, i am now getting pains on my right side(ovary area) what can that be? Can i trust the monitor?

Clomid commonly causes ovarian cysts. The cysts go away, but it may take a second cycle before they are gone. Your urine test detects a rice of LH, which usually causes ovulation. It does not assure ovulation. For more information, please see our web page, <www.texasfertility.com>
