I haven't been monitoring my cervix every day but a few days ago it was soft and not so high, today at 5 weeks along it is hard and very low. I have only read that cervix should be high and soft - is mine a bad sign?

Thanks.

p.s. In addition to that, I am completely symptom-less.

Regardless of urban legend, you cannot determine anything about ovulation by examining your cervix. Your findings are neither bad nor good.
Good luck.

Can the same be said of determining pregnancy too?

Thanks.

After about 6 to 8 weeks of pregnancy, the junction of the cervix and th uterus softens. Later the entire cervix softens.
