Can a blastocyst implant late and cause embryo to be smaller than expected?

I am 6w6d pregnant from an FET with 5 day blastocysts. My RE did a sonogram and found two sacs, but they measure slightly small... He states there can be variability in when blastocysts implant... so the dates may be off slightly. How common is that?

I am convinced that we did see a "late implantation' once. I doubt that we could have proven it to have taken place, but I cannot tell you it is impossible. Delayed implantation is a normal event in bears.
Good luck.
