Dr. Jacobs,
I got a positive beta last Wednesday and by Friday it had doubled. I have been experiencing brown spotting wit tiny clots after wiping. My RE does not think there is anything to be concerned about since it is not bright red and there is not enough to wear a pad. I am going in today for a 3rd beta to ease my mind. Should I seek a second opinion I am starting to think they are being a little to relaxed about the situation?

In all probability, your RE is right. It is fairly common to have some light bleeding in early pregnancy, and it means nothing. It just scares the fool out of you. Even if there weere a problem, there is nothing you can do about it. You are probably fine.
