Blastocyst went from Grade A to Grade C???

Hi!

I have had a blastocyst that was frozen several years ago as a grade A (I wasn't given any other numbers or letters, just A) This week I had a frozen embryo transfer to finally get this baby put in and it was given a C grade. The embryologist gave me a picture and said it had one cell. I was under the influence of a valium and didn't think to ask why it went from A to C and what this means to us. I also had them hatch it completely because this is my only embryo. I'm wondering if this embryo has any chance or if I shouldn't get my hopes up too high. I don't know if it's really bad that it went from an A to a C. Thank you for any information.

Since a blastocyst has a great many cells, I do not really know how to respond to your question, Please ask your RE and embryologist for an explanation. I just do not have enough data to help you.
Good luck.
