Hi Doc,

My wife is pregnant in her 4 th IVF attempt and she is into 6-8 weeks. Is it safe to travel now.

Any prolonged sitting in 1 position can increase the risk of blood clotting in leg veins. Every half hour she should stand and walk for a few minutes. Other than that, I know of no reason she should not travel.
Congratulations.

Thanks Doc,

However, my wife's RFE is suggesting her that the safe time would in the second trimister. Is this true?He futher says that the risk is more b'coz this in not a natural pregnancy.so, provided she does what you suggested above , is there some factor of risk or there is no risk at all?please advice.

Although do not follow the line of reasonong, I would not contradict your wife's physician.
