I had my second U/S today. The person that did my U/S was not the usual person that does my U/S. When she did the U/S she put the pobe in my opinion too far that i was very uncomfortable. The lady was having a hard time seeing the baby or getting a heart rate. I had a U/S 10 days ago by my usual person and she just barely put the probe in and was able to see the baby and the heart beat but was still not able to get a heartrte because i was just 6 weeks. My question is my RE said that since the U/S was not able to get a good heartrate that i have a high chance of miscarring. Is it possible that the person that did my sono just did not do a good job?

I am sorry the second sonographer caused you discomfort. I do not have any way of evaluating the quality of images obtained. You will probably need a third evaluation.
