Hi I have a question.. I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins (wooohoooo) and for almost a week now, maybe 3 times a day, my stomach tightens up almost like a contraction. it tightens so hard that i can feel a hard ball on the bottom right side of my lower stomach (which i would assume would be one of the sacs from one of the babies). My question is... is it a contraction this early? or what is it, and is it ok?

You may be having contractions. Please call your OB and discuss your contractions with him/her. More than likely, there is no problem, but let's not take chances.

i am happy you wrote this. I am also 14 weeks and I been feeling like a hard ball like thing on the lower right side of my abdomen. I don't know what it is. I ll ask my doc wednes.
