Alison~ So are your temps up. You said you had the surge a few days ago, right? How long does it usually take after your surge for your temps to increase. Mine usually takes a few days. I willl do an opk tomorrow morning and then call my re afterwards if it is positive. I guess i should bd tomorrow morning so i can have the test done tomorrow afternoon. if that is how it works?!?
So I guess you are in the 2ww. I am sure it will pass fast. Hopefully I will be right behind you......

Shannon~ Hi and congrats on Oing. I am glad the clomid is working for you. I hope to see my LH surge tomorrow.....

Hi Jade,
It usually takes 2-3 days after my surge for temps to increase this month i haven't been temping. Yes definitely bd in the morning if you are having the pc test because your body needs to have time to kill the swimmers (not that it will) if it is hostile oops just realized that advice is too late. talk to ya later

Jade - January 26

Hi Alison~ had my surge this morning-YAAY. We did BD this morning.... I also went at 4:30 for my pc test. It wasnt too bad. I didnt really feel it and he did an u/s. My lining is 11 so much better than last cycle. And the swimmers were still swimming.... YAAY. He even let me see them on the microscope. They were cute. LOL He also said next cycle we would do the dye test. uh oh.

So are you not temping this cycle. My re said not to bother but I think i am addicted. Oh well. So the dreaded 2ww for you. When will af be due? Have a great weekend.

I finally figured out how to get a ticker. Isnt it cute?
Okay it is now Monday- I had a surge Friday and I still havent o'ed. Is that wierd or is it just me? Dont you guys think it should have happened already. I think maybe today bc my temp was really low this morning. Who knows. Hope everyone has a great day.

alison29 - January 29

Hi Jade,
I like your ticker it is very cute. That is weird you haven't ovulated yet. Maybe it happened last night and your temps havne't gone up yet (complete guess) that is why i got sick of temping because it would say i hadn't od and meanwhile dh is telling me i have dried up so there fore must have and then a day later it would go up. I am glad the pc test was not bothersome that is cool you were able to look under the scope. I will have to figure out when af is due exactly and might be earlier because i od so early but some time before my surgery which is on Feb 15 . take care this could be your month :)

Jade - January 29

So your surgery is set for feb 15th? Is that the dye test. I am having that next month. Are you awake for it? I am not sure what happened with my temps. I am hoping they are up tomorrow. We will see. I will let you know for sure. You could be right about it happening last night. I took an opk this morning to see what it said and it was neg. So maybe i already o'd or i am not going to. UUUGGGGHHHHHH!

alison29 - January 29

Nope i am skipping the dye test. I am having the laparoscopy which means i will be asleep at the same time they do a hyteroscopy which checks out the tubes etc.. She said we could do the dye test first so there wouldn't be any surprises but i would rather just get it all over with at once since I am pretty confident my tubes won't really messed up (please god). I bet you already o'd especially if you are dry. Anyway must go force myself to excercise in freezing cold. let me know about your temps

Jade - January 29

Yeah. It is miserably cold here too. So I guess after dye test then they will do laparoscopy - if they find something in my tubes? I am sure yours arent blocked. Is that a common thing with endo-Blocked tubes? I am not really dry so I think I may have not o'd yet. Who knows. I can t wait til tomorrow to see about my temps. I am such a loser LOL

alison29 - January 29

hi again,
in some cases it does block the tubes among other things... The thing that would be really bad is if for some reason the tubes were damaged by something else (like infection or iud or adominal surgery). I have always had routine checkups so hopefully nothing like that but she did say IF they were really damaged and not capable of ever working right it is best to remove them so that ivf has a better chance of working. I don't even want to think about that possiblity but i will have to decide what to tell dh to tell dr if something like that comes up because i will be out. I am part of the loser club with you :) this site is my favorite thing to do right now and of course no one but the other ladies here can understand that happy temping

Jade - January 30

Alison~My temps went up this morning. YAAH. I feel like I am coming down with a cold. Yuck. So I hope that wont effect my chances. How many DPO are you? You should be pretty close to the end of your 2ww. So will you do femara next cycle (if you have one) since you will be having surgery?

alison29 - January 30

hello,
Well its about time i am happy for you that it worked...I am only about 6 dpo. I have to skip next cycle she said in order to heal so no Femara. I wonder what will come after surgery. Oh well one thing at a time. take care

Jade - January 31

I am sure your surgery results will be fine. It sucks to have to skip a cycle but the end result will be worth it. I have heard that a lot of people end up getting pregnant the month after they have that test. So that would be great. Have a great day.

alison29 - January 31

You are right must stay positive that is something i need to work on. You have a great day too

Jade - January 31

Have you heard of any long-term side effects of taking fertility meds. Like clomid or femara? Is ovarian cancer a side effect? I sure hope not. I hope we dont have to be on this stuff long?

alison29 - January 31

Hi Jade,
I know they use to connect continual clomid use with cancer so not to use for more then 6 months my old dr said "they" no longer believe there is a link so i am not sure. I haven't heard anything about femara other then people use it that have breast cancer at some point maybe it hasn't been used for infertility long enough to know but it does work by a different mechanism then clomid so i bet we are okay using it for a few months i bet your RE will try something stronger if femara doesn't work soon but it could and you have only been on it this month right?
