Size of Hydrosalpinx Important?

Does anyone know how large their hydrosalpinx was? My doctor told me that mine was about 40% of the distal end of my right tube and that the left tube looked healthy and normal. She was very optimistic about us conceiving with it in place, although from everything that I've read on this site and others I'm not sure where that optimism is coming from ???. Any information that you can offer would be great!

Thanks!

i don't think it to do with the SIZE necessarly of the hydrosalpinx or from my own personal experience and understanding it is the severity of damage to your tubes and if they appear 'MODERATE' , 'SEVERE', or 'mild' to be able to have surgery and repair. so that might be something to ask your Dr.
keep in mind hyrdo = water therefore if you ever plan to have IVF they will need to remove fluid first or close tubes becuz if not water/fluid will or can leak out and not allow egg/sperm to combine. keep your head up and ensure to ask your Fertility Dr. any ?s you gather frm this website...he will be the only one to answer you..good luck
