I'm new to the infertility thing as well as this forum. Is there some where I can figure out what all the abbreviations are for? (dh, and so on)
I have had the initial visit with my RE. Did all the preliminary workup, as well as an HSG. It showed that my fallopian tubes were closed. I was devastated and cried all night and most of the next day. When the doctor called she said my tubes could have spasmed and closed up because of the dye. Has this been true for anyone?
I'll have the lap surgery done in June to see if I have endo which I have no syptoms of, and to see if there are obstructions in my tubes. I also have a luteal phase defect and have started progesterone supplements for that. My mom and mother-in-law don't understand anything and think 'there just has to be something they can do with all the medical break throughs.'
I guess I'm justing looking for someone else that's where I am right now. I'm 31 and have been trying for 2 1/2 years before going to the RE. We've been married 6 years in June.

I’m really feeling sorry for you. Even I have got certain complications. The doctor has showed me some pictures of my uterus and he said that there is very little probability that I become pregnant. I haven’t told this to my husband; he wants a baby so much. I do not want to disappoint him. I want to show you the pictures but I don’t know how to upload the photo. I want some second opinion.

I really feel concerned for and I want to help you. if you permit me can I show your reports to my doctor for a second opinion. The pictures that you have upload it over an image hosting site because I guess they must be bulky. You’ll be given an address for the pictures; you just have to paste the address here. Right? Be quick.

Dont give up hope..... I have never been given a reason for my infertility.. But they have gotten me pregnant 6 times with one success story. Her name is Morgan and she is 21/2yrs old.. I started fertility the first time at age 20. I am 25 and doing it again to try for a second believe me it is hard but you have to keep going. I will have you in my prayers..

I am 23 and trying for my first baby...I have a HUGE fear of doctors, but have taken Ovulex for 3 months because I know that the main problem with me and my DH is that I don't ovulate regularly...The ovulex didn't work at all and I am really depressed... In the past year over 8 women that I know have successfully gotten PG and/ or given birth and I am left on the sidelines- usually crying...I just don't know what to do...

I am considering buying some clomid on the net to see if it helps regulate my period- my friend suggested this because she said it is how she got PG with her first, but I am not sure....What does everyone think?

amber.. all 6 of my pregnacies were and have been clomid babies, however i did it with a dr. Your regualr ob can give you the medication. They will give it to you if you say that you have been trying for 12 months. I have irregular periods and do not ovulate regular either but for no know reason they can not find one, I can go anywhere from 37 days till 105 days withour a period. I know the feeling of being on the side line though. But i recommend you go through a dr not on line. If you are having problems concieveing there may be other reasons. Even after i got pregnate i had 3 miscarriages before my daughter and two since her.. You sound like you need to find a dr you trust. If i can help anyohter way let me know.
