Hi all,
I have been pregnant 1 known time (15 yrs ago, when I was 18), and a possible 2 other times. Been TTC with my husband for almost 8 yrs. He has 5 kids of his own (which makes it a little harder for me...all these kids and none are mine)

All ultrasounds, blood tests, and my HSG came back normal, except for low hormone levels. His sperm analysis came back great. Doctor recommended taking Femara and Ovidrel to get me ovulating, then it is on to normal sex for insemination :) He said in his opinion, we have about an 80% chance of it working the first time around. So, fingers crossed...but keeping hopes down so we dont end up crushed by that 20%.

After being prescribed all the drugs, and taking all my tests, insurance decided..ooops we dont wanna pay for that stuf after all (kinda BS since I called them for confirmation before I even had my first appt. and they said it was all covered) so we are doing the pills and shot on our own, with the aid of a fertility nurse (friend of a friend) to keep an eye on me.....within a month I should know if it worked (right?)

Its nice to hear from you. My last clinic didnt want to do the immune testing either so I went to another RE. And after so many cycles we needed a change of scenery anyway. The new RE did find a genetic marker for blood clots. Youve been through so much; the immune testing is just more bloodwork & especially if insurance pays; why not.
Im doing well. I am in the 2ww of another iui. I try to not think about it too much. We just bought a home and I am in the process of switching jobs so I dont have time to obsess.

Nice to hear from you to, and congrats on your new home.Have not try again but planing to soon,have an apointment with my doc. on tuesday hoping to have a long talk with him and find out if he can give me a letter to do the test at the hospital, because where i live i have been trying to find a privat clinic to do it but without luck. If he cant, i will just have to tell my RE that i cant go through another cycle without konwing so he should,nt just say it does,nt work sometimes just let me do the test. Anyway good luck hope you get your angel this time and good luck with your new job.

Hi Nareen,
How are you? Did you talk with the RE? I dont think I would do another IVF either without knowing. Does your insurance pay for it? If I remeber correctly, your fertility is unexplained too?
Well the last iui did not work so I decided to do another. I was inseminated on Sunday. I start my new job tomorrow and we are closing on the house this month. Things are going well. I now have a room for the baby or babies. I'm ready already!

I am find thank you and how are you hope everything is still going great with you. I have not talk with RE yet and insurance does´nt pay and i am also unexplained so thats why it`s so hard.
Anyway i have an apointment on thursday so i am waiting to hear what they have to say this time are maybe you will hear about a crazy woman on the news who beats her doctor out of fustration hahahaaaaaaaaa. Anyway good luck with everything baby, house and job.

Hi Nareen -
How are you? I'm doing good. I am doing yet another IUI. I was just inseminated today. After so many cycles, I'm not so crazy about every little thing; it's just become a chore. Although I did order a hypnofertility cd. I figure it was cheap and doesn't require much effort. I'll let you know how it goes. For now, I am focusing on the new job & house and enjoying the summer. Great to hear from you! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. I know the 2ww is psychological torture but try to keep yourself busy. When did you have the transfer and how many embies transferred?
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Great hearing from you too. I have tranfered to 5 day blast. but i am a bit woried because the day efter my tranfered i wake up with sharps cramps three different times. Thanks alot for your support and god bless.
