Hi Les,
I can did and understand how hard it is but dh and I wanted to stop kept trying and failing in the end we both went for hypnotherpy and it worked!! If you decided to do that you need to make sure the hypno talkes the physical addiction as well as the mental addiction some do not physical addiction which after 3 days is broken now ypu cann't stop the cravings but you can re direct them my hypno redirected ours to mints and it worked. well, i was smoking also but as soon as i stop, i get all these marks on my arms.. i don't understand at all. it was hard enough to quit now i'm thinking about smoking again.. the marks are really frightening and i have doctor phoby.... i wish i could post some pictures so you could tell me if you suffer from the same.. [it's not the first time that i've stopped but these marks make me smoke again...] Could anyone tell me how to post pictures here?

You get marks when you stop smoking!! what type of marks?? I had never heard of this before.

I don't smoke and neither does my husband. But i will tell you that when there is a will a will there is a way. So keep trying you will surely succeed.

Hi, Leslie......I was having a really hard time quitting when I was TTC. And then I said as soon as I ovulate, I will quit....that was pushed back to as soon as I get my BFP I will quit.
So, finally, I got my BFP and even though it was so so hard, I was able to do it. All that time, I had one ciggie very early on. but today, at 8weeks 2 days, I had a D&C because I lost my little baby.
I don't know if it was becasue I smoked or not. But, what I do know is that the next time around, I am not even looking at a cigarette, cause it's just not worth the risk.

I mean, I don't want to scare you, but I just want u to lookat it as the worst case scenario, cause I think some of us need to be scared into quitting. For example, babies of moms who smoked have a [i][/i]significantly [i][/i]higher rate of SIDS after birth!

I have quit smoking because the doctor said that this could the reason why I don't ovulate normally. It should say that it was not easy and i still feel the craving for tobacco.....ouff i want to forget the cigarettes

Stress level goes down --> I try to QUIT --> Stress level goes UP!!

I am in a cycle of quitting. I quit a week before the IUI and then I quit for the 2ww and then I start back up again when I get a BFN!
